| Bio: | Howdy. I'm Lasafara. I recently graduated from college and am currently working as a graphic technician. I like roleplaying, reading, writing, some drawing, and learning new things. I have a tendency to become obsessed with something for a period of a few months, and researching it until I have satisfied my curiosity, and then retaining a great deal of that information for later. Which means if you read my journal, you may get to hear random stuff like that for months and months, whether you want to or not. I'm random, and probably not altogether sane. So I don't always make sense. Get used to it. Finally, I am a fairly pious Christian. WHICH MEANS: -Yes, I am pro-life. It has to do with my core beliefs, and if you don't believe like I do in that, we won't ever agree. So, unless you want to start a fight, don't ask about it. -No, your sexuallity doesn't bother me. Or, to be more precise, it has nothing to do with how I see you, what I think of you, or how we will interact, unless you MAKE it have something to do with that. This does not mean I don't have beliefs relating to it, but your actions? aren't for me to judge. I'm not God. I will not make judgement calls on you for it. -I will never tell you that you are going to hell. Ever. That is not my place. I respect you too much as a person to do something like that Therefore, I ask that you respect me and my beliefs. If you think that something will bother me, don't comment on my journal with it. For example: commenting that you believe in Buddha and wish to discuss? Doesn't bother me. But commenting that you are attempting to manipulate me into telling you what's bothering me through use of your magic? Bothers me a lot and will get you banned, no questions asked. Just...if you think something will bother me, feel free to ask me about it on AIM. I don't mind talking it out. Or post something about it in your own journal and see if I respond/what my response is. I just want to have that option of not discussing it if I need to. -I am more than willing to discuss my beliefs with you. BUT. If we talk about them, remember that we are discussing beliefs and not attacking each other. I want to still be friends at the end. -I will at times post things in my journal that are heavily Christian/belief/dogma-oriented. If this offends you, don't read it. It is my right to post them in my journal, just like you can post such things in yours. So don't spam me about them. Enough scary-face? Yes? Good. Basically? I'm fairly easy to get along with, and I like having lots of friends. I'm horribly touchy-feely, have a quick temper that actually hides the fact that I have a great deal of patience and will let myself get walked all over if I think it's the right thing to do. I bitch, whine, and complain about school, but I love learning and will do anything in my power to research something if I think it's important. I will go out of my way for any of my friends, and tend to be horribly protective of them, in my own little way. Willing to deal with my quirks? Then welcome aboard the Lasafara Express. Drinks will be served in twenty minutes. Please remain seated at all times; we expect a great deal of turbulence and possibly some unexpected layovers, but our destination will be reached safely, if eventually.  | |||||
